About Us

I am a textile, fibre artist committed to living a sustainable lifestyle. I am a practicing permaculturist and try to encourage conservational awareness through upcycled clothing. I love bringing new life to discarded fabrics. By reclaiming, redesigning and upcycling locally found fabrics, I am doing a small part in extending the life of some of our planets valuable resources.

I am deeply inspired by natural rhythms, energy cycles, and the pulsing, colourful cosmic ride we are embarked on in this human existence. I have had an ever growing fascination with cultural anthropology. I feel an openness and sacred honouring of ancient and traditional peoples way of being. I love climbing mountains, running in the forest, harvesting wild food, swimming in the lakes, river and oceans, dancing with the sun and the moon, growing, harvesting and preparing food.

I am the mother of three amazing daughters who challenge my perceptions and ideology while providing me with ample opportunity to practice patience and loving kindness! They also provide enthusiastic critical assessments and living trials for my creations. I love my family and all our extended animal family who orbit and integrate our lives. I love all my friends who, through their positive strength and unending support, have helped me to believe in myself and create the world I want to live in.
